On May 22,2020, a local community in Apple Valley came together to celebrate a high school graduate who spent his K-12 years in his house. His teachers came to him because of his disability. He’s not able to walk and is on oxygen.

The Apple Valley community came to celebrate this young graduate who has tried so hard every step of the way. His mother placed flyers in local mailboxes to inform neighbors of the graduation celebration.

The local newspaper contacted his mother to cover the event. And, the local fire station made a visit, along with friends, family and even strangers who arrived with cards and gifts. He was overwhelmed and so happy. It became a very emotional day for his family and teachers.
